Hey friends,

With the high winds and the extreme heat warning last weekend, we decided the best way to Love Others would be to move outdoor worship indoors on Saturday night!

It was wonderful to worship with you Saturday and Sunday, sing classic hymns together, and share some of what God’s word says about Loving Others. Replay worship here.

“Loving your neighbor as much as you love yourself doesn’t do a lot of good if you don’t love yourself.” This weekend, Pastor Matt will wrap up our J-O-Y series as he shares a message entitled Love Yourself. The Praise Band will be rockin’, and you’ll celebrate communion! If you’re worshiping from home, request communion kit pickup here.

My family and I will be away the next couple of weeks for our annual lake vacation, a cherished rhythm that helps us practice loving ourselves by resting and reconnecting. We always return refreshed and renewed! Over the next several weeks, other members of our staff team will also be taking time away with their families, embracing this same commitment to rest, renewal, and well-being.

Next weekend, we’ll kick off a new eight-week series in which we’ll walk you through the Path Of Peace (P-O-P), eight practices that lead you to Love Jesus, Love Others, and Love Yourself

Watch for some new additions in our main hallway to help us remember J-O-Y and P-O-P!

Giving offerings is a fantastic way to Love Others. Through our collective generosity of time, talents, and treasures, we are able to share Christ’s peace locally, regionally, and globally! We are able to accomplish so much more together than apart. Give a one-time or recurring offering. Each week in worship, we take time to celebrate the impact of your generosity—how your offerings fuel ministry that shares Christ’s peace in real and tangible ways. This weekend, we’ll highlight how our Care Ministries are here to help you love and care for yourself, so you can live generously from a place of peace and renewal.

This weekend, we have a special opportunity to live out Loving Others by celebrating with Ron and Barb Boots as they mark 70 Years of Marriage! To share their joy, they’re blessing our Prince of Peace family with delicious treats during Sunday morning coffee. If you’ll be at worship, be sure to stop by the gym between services to congratulate them and join in this joyful celebration!
