Hey Friends,

Thanks to all who helped host the Art Walk last Friday night as well as all of you who came out to experience it! It was an amazing night of live music, delicious eats, enjoying art, and encouraging artists. We’ll do it again next spring, April/May date TBD. The theme will be "WITH YOU: The JOY of Friendship!"

Thanks to everybody who came to the Family Meetings Sunday afternoon and Wednesday night! We had some really great conversations that will guide ministry planning for 2027 and beyond.

There will be a brief Voters Meeting on May 17 after the late service to elect three new members of the Board of Directors! Check out the spring issue of the PEACE Offering! Read the Voters Packet. You can find paper copies at the Connection Center desk in the lobby.  

Last weekend in worship, we sang some classic hymns, celebrated communion, and Pastor Matt preached about Paul’s Areopagus speech in Acts 17. Replay worship here. 

Sharon Loveless from Mission Partner JOURNEYS the Road Home joined us for worship! Get involved with helping the homeless in our community:

1. Donate to JOURNEYS Wish List. 

2. Volunteer on the meal team.

3. Serve in person with JOURNEYS.

Outdoor worship is BACK Memorial Day weekend Saturday, May 23 @ 5pm! Pack your lawn chairs and blankets in the car! Get ready for another season of worship under the pines! The tent will be going up next week! The children’s message will switch from Sundays at 10:30am to 5pm on Saturdays throughout the summer!

Next Up: Have you been attending Prince of Peace and feel like this might be your church home? Join us for our next Discover Class—a casual and welcoming time to share lunch with our pastors and staff. It’s the perfect opportunity to get to know each other, pray together, and discover what membership at POP looks like. Bring your questions, curiosities, and stories as we talk about next steps in your faith journey. The class starts at 11:45am on Sunday, June 7, in Room 17, right after the 10:30 service. Sign up on Church Center—we can’t wait to connect with you!

Thank you to everyone who gave an offering in April! We are 33% of the way through the year and have received $501,209 in offerings, which has funded 30.8% of our annual budget. Let's continue giving God our first fruits in thankfulness for all He's done for us and to fuel all that He can accomplish through us! Give a one-time or recurring offering.

This weekend, the choir will lead us in worship, we’ll sing some classic hymns and discover some faith lessons in Paul’s letter to the Philippians! And we’ll celebrate moms!
